Thanks to 250+ fans who joined us for the first annual Kirkwood Film Festival in winter 2025, featuring ski flicks by Josh Daiek ("Caldor"), Molly Armanino ("Slopes of Change"), and Squid and Friends ("The Mule" and "Send it for Sam") Gratitude also to the dads on "Meat Alarm," who provided pre-movie music, and Steve Hendy for being our emcee. The evening was such a success that we repeated it in winter 2026 with Teton Gravity Research's "Pressure Drop," featuring Molly in her newest feature film.

2023 Snowball Fight!!
1st annual Kirkwood Freeride Foundation Snowball Fight
Heartfelt thanks to all who either took part in, or contributed to, our first fundraiser! We celebrated April Fool's Day with a good-old-fashioned snowball fight featuring squishy balls and fuzzy Nerfs. Special gratitude goes out to our Kirkwood Ski Patrol, who gamely took part. And who doesn't love an opportunity to throw a sanctioned snowball at a patroller?!?
